Digital Embossing

Digital embossing is essentially printing clear inks multiple times, layer over layer. You can run the clear ink twice or three or even four times over the same spot thus creating an emboss effect. Digital Embossing can be specified in two depths: Low Lift and High Lift, depending on the effect you require.

Ideal for specialty projects like book covers, posters, brochure covers, annual report covers, presentation materials, labels or point-of-sales marketing materials for that extra sophisticated style.

You can now create that a one-of-a-kind sophisticated print using digital embossing and avoid spending for embossing blocks. Please consider however that the printed size is limited to the size of the substrate available.

Whilst Digital Embossing is applicable to either gloss or matt lamination it is most effective over matte, where the contrast between the laminate and the emboss is striking.​
